Our spacious Ryder Cup house for rent is over three floors. Thanks to its oversized windows we enjoy lots of light and breathtaking views of the river Shannon and Moylussa; the highest point in our neighbouring county, County Clare. Our home is finished with walnut doors and flooring throughout which we feel lends it great character and warmth, despite being a newly built home. All 5 bedrooms are en-suite and each have walk in wardrobes. The underfloor heating system means it never matters what the weather has decided to do, it remains the desired temperature the year round. We love our home as it is spacious and modern yet comfortable and homely. We live at the end of a quiet cul de sac in the village of Ballina, Co Tipperary. It is a twin town with Killaloe, Co Clare which means both villages are merely metres apart, but are linked by a thirteen arch bridge. They are two of them most picturesque villages that span the River Shannon. We have a vast array of activities on land and water including kayaking, hill walking, an outdoor swimmimg pool and tennis courts. Visit historic sites, great bars and even better restaurants. Expect to hear Irish music in the summer months. Killaloe, on the Clare side of the river, which our home overlooks, is made up of charming narrow streets, flanked by old shops along the steep hill looking down over the 13th century cathedral. The town was home to Brian Boru so this picture perfect town boasts Victorian streets and old canal banks. Ballina on the Tipperary side, our side, has plenty of moorings for cruisers to stop off and the jetty offers a platform to fish from next to the River Shannon. Living here means we are only, by car, one hour from Galway, one and a half hours to Connemara, The Cliffs of Moher, Cork and Kerry. If you wish to travel in the other direction, we are two hours from the capital, Dublin. It's a three hour drive to Belfast, the capital city of Northern Ireland. But we recommend that if you stay here travel less than an hour by car, out to the wilds of Co Clare and enjoy the famous Wild Atlantic Way. Our home is 45 Km drive from Adare Manor. as it is all motorway, it will take you only 34 minutes to drive there.
